About Postbox

Postbox is a simple CMS to create beautiful blogs and websites. Built on top of Laravel framework, the software has an intuitive interface which uses custom push state routing implemented in jQuery and vanilla JS.

Features

The CMS is built with a mindset to keep the software as easy to use as possible so that even a rookie in programming can use it without any difficulties. Some of the prominent features include:

Create posts - As with a basic CMS with blogging capabilities users can easily create posts through Postbox.
Create pages - Of course Postbox CMS has features to create pages for your website or blog.
Add Categories - You can create or update categories for your posts so that related content can be grouped under a single roof.
Easy to install - The installation process is a child's play even if you have basic idea of web development.

Installation

Create a database for your project.
Copy or git clone the app folder to the root folder of your Apache server and then follow onscreen instructions.
To log in to the backend visit https://<yourpostboxinstallation>/admin and use the credentials
- Username: admin@admin.com
- Password: admin

Note: If you face error 'Failed to create symbolic link' while installation run the command 'php artisan assets:link' or 'sudo php artisan assets:link' through your terminal from the root folder of your application and then click on the Refresh button on screen
