Installation
You can create alias for dock
binary:
alias dock=./vendor/nothing-works/dock/bin/dock
You can install the package via composer:
docker run --rm --interactive --tty --volume $PWD:/app composer require nothing-works/dock
or if you prefer composer on your machine
composer require nothing-works/dock
###You can run the docker-compose.yml installation via artisan:
dock php artisan dock:install
or if you prefer php on your machine
php artisan dock:install
Optionally, you can publish and adjust dockerfiles via artisan if needed:
dock php artisan dock:publish
Usage
You can run the server:
dock up -d nginx
or
docker compose up -d nginx
You can run a specific container with related commands:
dock <CONTAINER> command
or
docker compose run --rm <CONTAINER> command
Available containers:
- composer
- artisan
- phpunit
- npm
Examples:
dock composer --version
or
docker compose run --rm composer --version
dock artisan inspire
or
docker compose run --rm artisan inspire
dock phpunit
or
docker compose run --rm phpunit
dock npm run prod
or
docker compose run --rm npm run prod
