Echo.js based lazy load plugin for WordPress. This is a simple plugin, it has no option, it just install, activate and you are good to go. Props to Todd Motto for written the amazing Echo.js.

It is built using the WordPress coding standards, is designed to be very lite weight on system resources.

Customization

This plugin doesn't have any settings panel as it designed to be simple. However, it doesn't mean that it isn't customizable. There filters through the code to enable the customization of here every aspect of the plugin. The code is well documented and easy to read, so developers / users can make the most of this plugin.

Installation

This section describes how to install the plugin and get it working.

Using The WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the 'Add New' in the plugins dashboard
  2. Search for 'echo-js-lazy-load'
  3. Click 'Install Now'
  4. Activate the plugin on the Plugin dashboard

Uploading in WordPress Dashboard

  1. Navigate to the 'Add New' in the plugins dashboard
  2. Navigate to the 'Upload' area
  3. Select echo-js-lazy-load.zip from your computer
  4. Click 'Install Now'
  5. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

Using FTP

  1. Download echo-js-lazy-load.zip
  2. Extract the echo-js-lazy-load directory to your computer
  3. Upload the echo-js-lazy-load directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
  4. Activate the plugin in the Plugin dashboard

GitHub Updater

The Echo.js Lazy Load includes native support for the GitHub Updater which allows you to provide updates to your WordPress plugin from GitHub.
