README
Edit, create and arrange content on the site's own pages, in a sidebar docked to the edge of every design. expwt replaces ezwt, the website toolbar.
- Install:
composer require se7enxweb/expwt, then./console exp:wt:migrate-from-ezwt --applyon an installation that used ezwt, and switch it on per siteaccess (expwt.ini [ExpwtSettings] Enabled=enabled; the migration does so where ezwt was active). - The package replaces
se7enxweb/ezwt(Composerreplace): the two are never installed together, and arequireof ezwt is met by expwt. Composer removesextension/ezwtwhen expwt comes in, so run the migration first or right after, beforeActiveExtensions[]=ezwtis taken out of the settings. - Designs include
design:parts/expwt_edit_actions.tpl(the edit form's Send for publishing, Store draft, Discard draft),expwt_versionview_actions.tplandexpwt_page_toolbar.tplin place of ezwt's templates; ezwt's own include names (parts/website_toolbar*.tpl) answer with these for designs not yet moved (guide: "Designs"). - Guide: doc/eng-us/expwt.md (Deutsch: doc/ger-de/expwt.md).
- Requires Exponential 6.0.15 or later (the pagelayout hook, GraphQL mutation extensions, the move from ezwt) and ezjscore; PHP 7.4 or later.
Version 0.1.0 (first phase): the sidebar on every design (tab, push or overlay, drag, keyboard, width, per user and per device), the Me panel, editing on a draft in the panel and on the page, preview, publish now or later, create, tree operations, soft locks with a field by field merge, the expwt policies, REST and GraphQL data layers.
Scheduling (publish at, take down at) uses the kernel's wait-until-date workflow and hide cronjob, the same as the
administration, so approvals apply; expwt has no schedule or cronjob of its own. A class needs a date field for it
(listed by a "Wait until date" event on the content/publish trigger, and in content.ini [HideSettings] HideDateAttributeList[] for taking down); a class without one shows "Not possible here: this kind of page has no
date field for it." in place of the input. How to add the field: the guide, "Publish at and take down at". The
schedule of earlier expwt versions moves to the kernel with ./console exp:wt:migrate-from-ezwt --apply.
