This repository is READ-ONLY. It is split automatically out of the goldene-zeiten/products monorepo, which is the single source of truth. Pull requests and commits made here are overwritten by the next split — please open them in the monorepo instead.

A Model Context Protocol endpoint for the Products shop system. AI assistants connect to a fixed path of the site (default /mcp) and discover the shop's tools and resources. The protocol is served by the official mcp/sdk; MCP sessions are stored with TYPO3's session framework.

It ships the endpoint, the registry for tools and resources, the session storage, four resources generated from the shop configuration (in the site language and overridable per site: shop://guide/search, shop://guide/ordering, shop://guide/checkout, shop://shop/facts), tools to search the catalogue, and tools to build a basket and hand it to the customer. An assistant creates a basket (create_basket, add_to_basket, update_basket_item, get_basket) and start_checkout returns a signed, expiring link; opening it puts the basket into the customer's own session and continues in the normal checkout, where terms, withdrawal and payment happen as for any order.

Installation

composer require goldene-zeiten/products-mcp

Without Composer, install the extension from the TER; the release bundles mcp/sdk and the libraries it needs.

Add the "Products MCP" site set to your site and enable the products.mcp.enabled setting.
