Google Map 2xClick Solution allows you to add content elements and as many Google Maps as you want on your website without being flagged on Cookie scanners!

This extension works in parallel with our GDPR-extensions.com Consent Manager, where your website viewer can update their cookie preferences any time!

Without GDPR-extensions.com Consent Manager:

  • The Google Map cookie will not be created and the user will not be able to view the map until they consent to the content mask that you style and hides the video.
  • Once the user has consented, they are able to view the Google Map, the cookie is created and the default session duration is 30 days.
  • The user will not be able to update their cookie preferences, and their data will be saved until the session has expired.

With GDPR-extensions.com Consent Manager:

  • The GDPR-Extensions-com - Consent Manager TYPO3 extension is powered by the gpdr-extensions.com dashboard.
  • This scans your website and auto detects cookies and external sources.
  • It provides you with a content element “Consent Manager” that you can add to your website where all cookies are listed and user can manage the Google Map 2 Click cookie any time.
  • Website viewers will be able to view the Consent Manager anytime by clicking on the cookie widget which you can always customize its styling, language content, and position.

How it Works?

  1. Install GDPR-Extensions-com - Google Map 2xClick Solution TYPO3 Extension

    • Once the extension is installed successfully a new tab will appear on your TYPO3 project “GDPR-Extensions-Com Admin”
    • You can view the extension customization settings.

  2. Update Content

    • You can update the content heading, body, etc that you want to show to your website viewers on the content mask hiding the Google Map.

  3. Update Styling

    • You can also add additional styling to fit your website theme.

  4. Add Google Map Content Element

    • Visit the page on your project that you want to show reviews on.
    • You should find a section “GDPR-Extensions-com”.
    • Select “Google Map”.
    • Enter your locations.
    • Apply additional styling.
    • Save and publish the page edits.
