Saplings - NextJS

Configures Drupal site for NextJS decoupled experience.

Features

Provides essential Drupal configuration and modules for seamless NextJS integration, enabling headless content management with optimized API endpoints and authentication.

Installation

composer require drupal/saplings_nextjs
drush recipe ../recipes/saplings_nextjs

Usage

Once installed, the NextJS configuration will be available for Drupal administrators. The recipe configures:

  • JSON:API endpoints for content consumption
  • Authentication mechanisms for secure API access
  • Content type configurations optimized for headless delivery
  • URL alias patterns compatible with NextJS routing

Users with the Administrator role will have access to related features within the admin interface.
