URI Department

URI Department is a WordPress theme designed for the University of Rhode Island.

This repo no longer sees active development (bug/security fixes only), as it is being replaced by URI Modern.

What is this repository for?

The URI Department theme is installed on nearly all academic websites. Campus collaborators are encouraged to contribute code to improve the theme.

How do I get set up?

  • Install into your WordPress wp-content/themes directory
  • Activate theme
  • Configure with Customizer or at /wp-admin/themes.php?page=options-framework
