README
The shared base of the Spirit Digital modules.
- The "Spirit Digital" tab in
Stores > Configuration, with the Spirit Digital icon on its left, where the settings of every Spirit Digital module appear. - The tab keeps its name, icon and position whichever module declares it, so older modules that declare the tab themselves still end up in the same place.
- A
spiritlogger that writes tovar/log/spirit.log.
Installation
composer require spirit-digital-agency/magento2-spirit-core
php bin/magento setup:upgrade
php bin/magento cache:flush
In production mode also run php bin/magento setup:di:compile and php bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy.
Use it in a module
Require the package in composer.json and load after it in etc/module.xml.
<sequence> <module name="Spirit_Core"/> </sequence>
Put each section in the tab, without declaring the tab again.
<section id="vendor_feature" translate="label" sortOrder="100" showInDefault="1"> <label>Feature</label> <tab>spirit</tab> <resource>Vendor_Feature::config</resource> </section>
A module that has to work without Spirit Core, such as one sold on the Adobe Commerce Marketplace, declares the tab with the same values and its own copy of the icon style.
<tab id="spirit" translate="label" sortOrder="800" class="spirit-tab"> <label>Spirit Digital</label> </tab>
