sightpress/plugin-image-finder: the official SightPress plugin for finding images. Licensed GPL-2.0-or-later.

Status: M0 scaffolding in place (manifest, bundle, quality gates, CI); features arrive in milestone M8.

It lets creators search free and paid image providers from the media library and the editors, with every result described in words, and add the chosen image to the site through the same checks as an upload, then the usual describe step — images are always copied, never hotlinked, and alt text is always written by a person.

• Openverse and Wikimedia Commons need no account.
• Pexels and Pixabay need a free API key; Shutterstock, Adobe Stock and Getty Images/iStock use the site's own paid account.
• Providers are adapters behind ImageProviderInterface in its Contract\ namespace, connected install-wide with php bin/console sightpress:image-finder:setup.
• It fills in each image's core credit and licence, keeps provider and purchase records, and enforces a monthly spending limit for paid images that each site sets.

Fake providers and recorded responses only; CI never uses real keys. Check out sightpress/core as a sibling and require it with COMPOSER=composer.dev.json composer install to run the test kernel.
