README

Rithmo is a Symfony Bundle designed to generate unique identifier numbers, inspired by my experiences using Excel and Access to modernize outdated applications. Developed during my time at Mercedes, it simplifies integration into future projects and highlights my commitment to creating innovative solutions.

Setup

Register the bundle

Register the bundle in config/bundles.php by extending the array. Shall be done by composer install/update, if not: Try it manually

<?php

return [
    Symfony\Bundle\FrameworkBundle\FrameworkBundle::class => ['all' => true],
    Symfony\Bundle\MakerBundle\MakerBundle::class => ['dev' => true],
    Symfony\Bundle\TwigBundle\TwigBundle::class => ['all' => true],

    ### only attach this line
    MoSys\Rithmo\RithmoBundle::class => ['all' => true],
];

Autoload

in composer.json of the symfony project loading the bundle, there is the autoload area, which needs your attention It shall look like this:

"autoload": {
        "psr-4": {
            "App\\": "src/",
            "MoSys\\Rithmo\\": "rithmo/"
        }
    },

Extend the routing in config/routes.yaml

controllers:
    resource:
        path: ../src/Controller/
        namespace: App\Controller
    type: attribute

### Just add those lines to the file
Rithmo:
    resource:
        path: ../vendor/mosys/rithmo/Controller
        namespace: MoSys\Rithmo\Controller
    type: attribute

Extend the services

  • The services must be extended to include the controllers from MoSys Rithmo.
  • This can be done in config/services.yaml.
  • Extend it as follows:

  • Pay attention to this blocks:

    • parameters:
    • MoSys\Rithmo\Controller:
parameters:
    app.max_alpha_numeric_numbers: '%env(APP_MAX_ALPHA_NUMERIC_NUMBERS)%'
    app.max_numeric_numbers: '%env(APP_MAX_NUMERIC_NUMBERS)%'

services:
    _defaults:
        autowire: true # Automatically injects dependencies in your services.
        autoconfigure: true # Automatically registers your services as commands, event subscribers, etc.

    App\:
        resource: '../src/'
        exclude:
            - '../src/DependencyInjection/'
            - '../src/Entity/'
            - '../src/Kernel.php'

    MoSys\Rithmo\Controller\:
        resource: ../vendor/mosys/rithmo/Controller
        tags: [ 'controller.service_arguments' ]
        arguments:
            $parameterBag: '@parameter_bag'

Extend twig settings

We need to add the template path to twig configuration ../config/packages/twig.yaml Add:

twig:
    paths:
        '%kernel.project_dir%/vendor/mosys/rithmo/Resources/views': Rithmo

Just reload ....

  composer dump-autoload
  rm -rf var/cache/*
  bin/console cache:clear --no-warmup
  composer install
  php bin/console cache:clear
