Composer metapackage that installs every Magenx Commerce companion Magento 2 module — the backend half of the magenxcommerce headless storefront — with one require and keeps them updatable with one update.

It contains no code: only a composer.json of type metapackage whose require lists the modules.

Install

Every module is required as *, so composer update installs the latest stable release of each module — minor, patch and major — without a new release of this package. Pin a module in the project's root composer.json (e.g. "magenxcommerce/module-blog": "^2.0") to hold it back.

All packages are published under the magenxcommerce/ vendor; the table drops the prefix.

Leaving a module out

A metapackage installs everything it requires. To skip one, tell Composer it is already provided, in the project's root composer.json:

Modules that depend on a replaced one will then fail at runtime — module-ai-mcp, for example, requires module-admin-activity, module-blog, module-gdpr, module-helpdesk, module-platform, module-product-feed, module-quick-search-graph-ql and module-rma; *-graph-ql halves such as module-rma-graph-ql require their backend module; the module-stripe-* modules require stripe/module-payments.

Releasing

Versions come from git tags (vX.Y.Z); composer.json carries no version field. Release Please cuts them: on every push to main it opens or updates a release PR from the Conventional Commit messages, and merging that PR tags the release and updates CHANGELOG.md.

Module release (any) — nothing to do here; * already allows it.
New module — tag its first release (v1.0.0) — * only matches stable tags — then add it to require as * and add a table row in a feat: commit, which makes a minor release of this package.
Module removed — drop it from require in a feat!: commit, which makes a major release of this package.
