Engineering standards, AI guidelines and agent skills for Laravel projects, delivered through Laravel Boost.
Installation
composer require --dev ludoguenet/laravel-standards php artisan boost:install
Select ludoguenet/laravel-standards when Boost lists third-party packages. In a project that already has Boost installed, run php artisan boost:update --discover instead.
Keep @php artisan boost:update --ansi in your post-update-cmd Composer script so every composer update refreshes the guidelines and skills.
What's included
Guidelines (compiled into CLAUDE.md):
engineering-standards: the mandatory workflow, architecture, security, testing and definition-of-done rules.enforce-tests: when tests are and aren't required.
Skills (loaded on demand):
engineering-standards: detailed rationale, examples and checklists for each area of the standards, plus an ADR template.add-interchangeable-provider: procedure for adding a provider behind a stable contract (CAPTCHA, payment, storage…).commit-coverage: runs Pint, PHPStan and tests with coverage, then creates a conventional commit. Expects Pest, Larastan and a coverage driver.
Updating
Edit the files in resources/boost/, tag a release, then run composer update ludoguenet/laravel-standards in each project.
