README
This module extends the Magento native ReCaptcha UI functionality to integrate Google ReCaptcha Enterprise instead of the default implementation. It leverages the official Google Cloud PHP Client for reCAPTCHA Enterprise under the hood.
Requirements
- PHP >= 8.1
- Magento ReCaptchaEnterprise module
Installation
-
Add the module to your project via Composer:
composer require lohoy/magento-recaptcha-enterprise
-
Enable the module:
bin/magento module:enable Lohoy_ReCaptchaEnterprise bin/magento setup:upgrade
Configuration
To configure the module from the Magento Admin:
-
Navigate to Stores > Configuration > Security > Google reCAPTCHA Storefront.
-
Expand the reCAPTCHA v3 Invisible section.
-
Provide the credentials specific to your Google Cloud Enterprise project:
- Google Cloud Project ID: Your Google Cloud project ID.
- Google Credentials Source: How the Service Account credentials JSON file is provided:
- File path on server (default): fill Google Credentials JSON File Path with the absolute path to the file (e.g.,
/var/www/html/magento/credentials.json). - Encrypted JSON: paste the content of the JSON file in Google Credentials JSON. It is stored encrypted in the database (with the Magento crypt key), so no file has to exist on the server. It is flagged as sensitive, so it is never exported by
bin/magento app:config:dump, and it can be set from the CLI:bin/magento config:set recaptcha_frontend/type_recaptcha_v3/google_credentials_source json bin/magento config:sensitive:set recaptcha_frontend/type_recaptcha_v3/google_credentials_json "$(cat credentials.json)"
- File path on server (default): fill Google Credentials JSON File Path with the absolute path to the file (e.g.,
Leave the path or JSON empty to use the
GOOGLE_APPLICATION_CREDENTIALSenvironment variable or Application Default Credentials.
