README
Nightingale is a Drupal CMS site template (recipe) designed to quickly bootstrap accessible, modern websites for UK public sector agencies, NHS and health workforce campaigns, arm's-length bodies (ALBs), and public health research portals.
Built on Drupal CMS 2.x and Drupal Canvas, Nightingale pairs the GOV.UK Design System and NHS Digital Service Manual design patterns with visual drag-and-drop page composition and structured guidance publishing.
Features

- GOV.UK & NHS Standards: Accessible color contrast, 19px typographic scale, focus states, and component patterns conforming to WCAG 2.2 AA.
- Pre-configured Content Types:
- Campaign Landing Page (Canvas-driven)
- Guidance / Service Page (Structured content with insets and accordions)
- News & Announcements (Public sector updates)
