About
Hisodat is one of the core extensions of @digicademy's Cultural Heritage Framework. The extension provides core domain models and logic for creating web portals and digital editions for historical sources. It features plugins for list and detail views of sources as well as fulltext search and indexes for historical persons, localities, entities and events. A flexible relation layer enables capturing complex connections between historical agents in the historical domain via qualified roles. Beside different serialization formats for the historical data presented with the extension, hisodat also provides a URI resolver for creating and managing permalinks.
Hisodat is being actively used as a foundational framework by many Digital Humanities projects and has been in active development since 2008. Some examples:
- Die Augsburger Baumeisterbücher
- Controversia et Confessio
- Deutsche Inschriften Online
- Gutenberg Biographics
- Mainzer Ingrossaturbücher
- Quellen zur Geschichte der Deutschen Sozialpolitik
- Regesta Imperii Online
- Die Sozinianischen Briefwechsel
