Unofficial Bible Gateway PHP API
Install
via composer
composer require benjamindoe/bible-gateway
using just the class file
Copy the src/BibleGateway.class.php into your project and include it.
Example Usage
$bible = new BibleGateway('NIV') // Version optional. Default is ESV
$bible->reference = 'John 3:16' // Starts the search
echo $bible->text // Echos the verse text
The above will output

The API uses the same classes that the Bible Gateway website uses
