Fixes a bug in Craft 3.4 where thumbs in the Control Panel were cropped instead of fitted, see https://github.com/craftcms/cms/issues/5515 and https://github.com/craftcms/cms/issues/5518.

This is only a stop-gap solution until Pixel & Tonic fixes the bug, which is scheduled for Craft 3.5.

Requirements

This plugin requires Craft CMS 3.4.0

Installation

To install the plugin, follow these instructions:

  1. Install with composer via composer require aelvan/more-fit-images from your project directory.
  2. Install the plugin in the Craft Control Panel under Settings → Plugins, or from the command line via ./craft install/plugin more-fit-images.
  3. Empty your "Asset caches".
