A package to easily make use of Brand Icons (Simple Icons) in your Laravel Blade views.

For a full list of available icons see and preview them at simpleicons.org.

This package is abandoned and no longer maintained. I suggest using the codeat3/blade-simple-icons package instead.

Requirements

  • PHP 7.3 or higher
  • Laravel 7.14 or higher

Installation

composer require sadegh19b/blade-brand-icons

Usage

Icons can be used a self-closing Blade components which will be compiled to SVG icons:

<x-brand-apple width="10" height="10"/>

You can also pass classes to your icon components:

<x-brand-apple class="w-8 h-8 text-white fill-current"/>

And even use inline styles:

<x-brand-apple class="w-8 h-8" style="color: #fff"/>

Note: if you want to be change icon color, you should be add svg{fill:currentColor} in your stylesheets file.

Raw SVG Icons

If you want to use the raw SVG icons as assets, you can publish them using:

php artisan vendor:publish --tag=blade-brand-icons --force

Then use them in your views like:

<img src="{{ asset('vendor/blade-brand-icons/apple.svg') }}" width="10" height="10"/>
